We are honored to have our keynote speaker this month: Mr. Matthew Lourey, Managing Partner at Acclime Vietnam, who will provide insights into the latest tax regulations, discuss how businesses can prepare for tax finalisation, and offer practical tips. Some key takeaways include:

1. Foreign-invested enterprises and specified other enterprises are required to have their Financial Statements audited prior to lodgement to the relevant authorities.
2. Audited Financial Statements are required to be submitted to four authorities: (i) the Provincial Tax Department; (ii) the Department of Planning and Investment; (iii) the Department of Statistics and (iv) the Department of Finance Management. Certain businesses may also be required to submit audited reports to additional authorities (for example, those located in Industrial Parks).
3. Additional declarations and submissions include Annual Transfer Pricing documentation, Annual Personal Income Tax withholding reports for employees, and Personal Income Tax Finalisations for employees who have no other employment income during the year and elect to authorise their employer to finalise on their behalf.
4. Domestic and cross-border tax planning enables investors to plan their tax liabilities accordingly throughout the year, maintain an efficient tax structuring process, and optimize their tax payable.
