CEEC Tennis Cup: Bringing the Community Together, One Serve at a Time
In 2021, the CEEC launched a new and exciting initiative—the Tennis Cup. The idea was simple yet impactful: to create a platform for people to come together, connect through sport, and, ultimately, give back to the local community. From its humble beginnings, the event has steadily grown in both size and significance, with each edition bringing more players, new categories, and expanding opportunities to make a real difference.

The Tennis Cup was conceived with the mission to not only offer a fun and competitive sporting experience but also to foster a stronger sense of community within the CEEC network. As the event grew year by year, CEEC remained focused on the broader goal—corporate social responsibility (CSR). The idea was to eventually take the success of the event and use it to give back to those in need, supporting local communities and causes that mattered. Each year, the Tennis Cup has become an increasingly important part of CEEC’s CSR initiatives, reflecting our commitment to making a positive impact beyond the tennis court.
Growth and Expansion
What started as a small gathering of tennis enthusiasts in 2021 has now evolved into a major event on the CEEC calendar. The first two editions of the Tennis Cup broke even, with no profits going toward charitable causes. But that was just the beginning.
In the latest edition of the Tennis Cup, we were thrilled to reach a new milestone. With more players joining, new categories introduced, and more corporate support, we were able to donate proceeds to those affected by Typhoon Yagi in the northern regions of Vietnam. This represented a significant achievement not only for the Tennis Cup but for CEEC’s ongoing efforts to make a meaningful contribution to the community.
Looking Ahead: A Sustainable Sporting Event with a Purpose
The Tennis Cup will continue to be an important event for CEEC, bringing together our chamber members and the wider community. Going forward, we are dedicated to growing the event in a way that maximizes its impact. Our focus remains on supporting local communities and addressing urgent needs, especially in times of crisis.
