1. Overview
The Member Gateway is EuroCham’s members-only digital portal, designed as a central access point for advocacy resources, regulatory insights, practical business guidance, support programmes, and business connections.
Rather than requiring members to navigate different parts of the EuroCham website or contact multiple teams, the platform brings relevant resources and support channels together in one place.

Launch communication period: 12 October 2026 to 30 November 2026
2. Target Users and Access
The Member Gateway is available exclusively to EuroCham members through their member login.
It is intended for companies of all sizes, with particular value for SMEs that may have limited internal resources to monitor regulatory developments, identify suitable support programmes, or determine where to seek assistance.
3. Platform Structure
The Member Gateway is organised around three main pillars:
A. Advocacy Knowledge Hub
The Advocacy Knowledge Hub provides members with access to EuroCham’s advocacy resources, regulatory information, publications, and practical EVFTA guidance.
Sector Committees
This section connects members directly to EuroCham’s existing Sector Committee network, where companies can follow sector-specific advocacy priorities and engage with relevant industry discussions.
Regulatory Updates
This section provides curated updates on regulatory developments relevant to EuroCham members.
Content focuses on:
Important Vietnamese regulatory developments connected to members’ and Sector Committees’ current interests; Significant EU regulations that may affect companies operating in or trading with Vietnam, such as CBAM and EUDR. The section is intended to provide practical awareness of relevant developments rather than serve as a general legal news digest.
Publications Archive
The Publications Archive is a central library of EuroCham knowledge resources, including:
– Whitebook;
– Business Confidence Index reports;
– GEFE reports;
– Must-Win Battles updates;
– Selected presentation materials from knowledge-sharing webinars and events;
– Other relevant EuroCham publications and resources.
The archive allows members to access these resources at any time, including selected materials from knowledge-sharing sessions they may not have attended, or topics that may become relevant due to changing business priorities or new personnel.
EVFTA Guidance & Trade Tools
This section is designed to help members – particularly SMEs and non-specialist business users – better understand and apply the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement in practice. It will serve as a comprehensive EVFTA knowledge hub and orientation guide for businesses trading in both directions between Vietnam and the EU, with an emphasis on clear, practical and business-friendly guidance rather than exhaustive legal or technical information.
The full knowledge hub is currently under development and is expected to include:
Core EVFTA articles, covering key topics from basic understanding to practical business application, including tariffs, rules of origin, market access, compliance and trade requirements;
Sector-focused guides, providing more targeted guidance on EVFTA opportunities, requirements and market-access barriers for priority sectors;
An EVFTA FAQ Hub, addressing common practical questions from members and expanding over time based on member enquiries and feedback.
As this dedicated content will not yet be available at the October launch, the section will initially guide members to relevant existing EVFTA information and resources, including official EU trade tools such as Access2Markets, as well as relevant EuroCham resources. The dedicated Member Gateway content will be added once development is completed.
B. SME Support Desk
The SME Support Desk brings together support resources, programmes, connections, and personalised guidance for EuroCham members.
Development Support Programmes
This section introduces funding, technical assistance, capacity-building, and other development programmes that may support SMEs operating in Vietnam. Members can access an overview of available programmes, including key information on eligibility, the support offered, and links to the relevant programme pages.
Business Connections
This section helps members identify opportunities to connect with the wider EuroCham and Business Association network through:
The EuroCham Membership Directory; Upcoming EuroCham and Business Association networking events.
Submit Your Request
“Submit Your Request” is one of the platform’s main support features. Members can submit a specific business, regulatory, or market-related question and receive a confidential, personalised response from the SME Support Desk within approximately three business days. The Support Desk acts as a first point of guidance. Depending on the request, the team may:
– Provide available practical information;
– Connect members with a relevant EuroCham team, Sector Committee or Business Association;
– Identify whether similar concerns are being discussed by other members;
– Direct the member to suitable external resources or support organisations.
The service should not be positioned as guaranteeing a definitive solution to every request. Its core value is helping members understand the available options and reach the right people, information, or resources.
Where appropriate, the team may follow up after one to two weeks to understand whether the guidance was useful or whether further direction is required.
C. South-East Asia IP SME Helpdesk
The platform connects members with the South-East Asia IP SME Helpdesk, which provides free intellectual property guidance and resources for European SMEs operating in Vietnam and the wider Southeast Asian region.
4. Key Member Benefits
The Member Gateway enables members to:
Access key EuroCham resources through one central platform;
Keep track of regulatory developments relevant to their business;
Revisit EuroCham publications, webinars, and event materials;
Better understand EVFTA requirements and available trade tools;
Discover funding and technical assistance opportunities;
Connect with other members, Business Associations, and relevant stakeholders;
Receive personalised guidance on specific business concerns.
5. Communication Positioning
Communications should be member-centric and focused on the practical value delivered by the platform.
The Member Gateway should be positioned as:
A central hub for EuroCham member resources and support;
A practical entry point for regulatory and advocacy information;
A growing library of knowledge and business resources;
A confidential channel through which members can receive personalised guidance;
A platform that helps members find the right information, people, programmes, and opportunities.
Messaging should avoid describing the platform as a “one-stop solution” that will resolve every business issue. A more accurate positioning is that the Member Gateway helps members navigate EuroCham’s resources and connects them with the most relevant support.
