BBGV Hanoi – 3rd FUN RUN for Charity

The Annual Fun Run for Charity is the biggest event among a wide range of BBGV’s charitable activities. The event was first launched in Ho Chi Minh City in 2000, helping BBGV raise over VND 9 billion for charities across the width and breath of Vietnam and attracted over 85,000 runners and walkers. The second edition in Hanoi last year had over 4000 attendees. This year it’s expected to bring 6000 attendees.
BBGV’s Fun Run for Charity this year will take place on:
- Time: From 8AM 5 November 2017
- Venue: Ecopark, Van Giang, Hung Yen province
With the agenda as of following:
- 8:30 : Beginning
- 9:00 : Dancing performance
- 9:10 : Opening ceremony
- Introducing: British Ambassador; representatives from Hung Yen Province and HY’s Department of Culture, Sports & Tourism
- Awarding ceremony for sponsors
- Performance by Tuan Hung the singer
- 10: 15: Start running
- 11: 30 : Cheering-up performance
- 11: 40 : Lucky draw
- 12: 00: Ending
To purchase ticket, kindly contact CEEC office at office@ceecvn.org or BBGV office: hanoi@bbgv.org (tel: 024 3633 0244). Each ticket costs 150,000 VND/ adult; 75,000 VND/child under 12; and free for child under 5 years old.
Kindly be noted:
1. Please bring your ticket and runner’s bib on event day. Ticket code and bib must be identical. Ticket is for Lucky draw, the bib is for running. In case of ticket/bib lost, you will have no equivalent rights and no alternative ticket or table number.
2. There is plenty of water exclusively sponsored by Lavie. The water only serves on the campus of the Fun Run and on the run route. Please do not waste.
3. We are not responsible for storing your bag at the event, please DO NOT bring your bag unless you want to run with it! Please notify that pickpocket is very common in many sports events. Therefore, please self-preserve your property, especially cell phones.
4. There is an area for parking as in the map and parking will be start at 7:30am
5. Your safety is our most concern; therefore, we will have more than 50 volunteers wearing BBGV T-shirts with Fun Run logo along the runway. If you have any health problem during the run, these volunteers will contact with doctors from Raffles Medical. Area for first aid and emergency services is in the startline area.
6. Guidance for travelling to Ecopark
a. Travel by personal transportation
– Go to Roundabout 3 towards Thanh Tri Bridge, pass Thanh Tri Bridge then turn right. Enter Ha Noi – Hung Yen interprovincial road and travel for 4.2 km more in order to reach Ecopark. The Estimated Time Arrival is approximately 30 minutes.
OR
– Go to Chuong Duong Bridge or Vinh Tuy Bridge. Pass the bridge, then go along Bat Trang road and head to pier section of Thanh Tri Bridge. Enter Ha Noi – Hung Yen interprovincial road and travel for 4.2 km more in order to reach Ecopark. The Estimated Time Arrival is approximately 40-45 minutes, depends on the starting location.
b. Travel by Ecopark’s bus
Ecopark provides many free bus route from a large number of locations within the centre of Hanoi city. Details about the locations as well as the starting time of the bus can be reviewed here: http://khudothiecopark.vn/lich-trinh-xe-bus-ecopark-mien-phi/
